  • Lucky running shirt helps, but the one thing I can’t do without is motivation to pull my runners on in the first place!

Oh and a beer afterwards if it was a particularly hard run?!

There are a couple of things…

my runner’s bottle of water as it’s got a good grip and strap to go over the hand to keep it secure and as I live in the Middle East I must have water with me to stay hydrated!

my iPod Nano with Nike+ as it tracks how far and fast I run and plays my favourite tunes and is nice and light to carry around on an armband without being too heavy or bulky.

oh, and finally, my favourite - something PINK! It’s my favourite colour and I like to wear at least one thing pink every day, even when running!

My iPod. I struggle to run without music… and it means I can’t hear my heavy breathing!

Oh and compeed, to prevent and ease the pain of blisters I pick up over longer distances. It’s magic.

  • Shoes that only require the laces to be undone the tongue pulled and they slip off. I must never know I’m wearing my shoes!

Something in my left hand the weights about the sames as 500ml of Liquid. Finished a marathon once carrying a bit of wood for that very purpose.

Imagination. Don’t do the music thing so I need to be able to dream.
